This was my favorite project out of all of them because it was unique. It was complicated when it came to fitting the cut outs just right but i thought of it like a puzzle. You had to change the the picture in photoshop so it only had three colors so you could trace it. The cutting was a long process, but it was fun spray painting it. I had troubles tracing it at first but once i figured it out it became a lot easier. I think this project was a sucess for me because it kind of describes me. Im a bright person i love bight colors and it really shows here. Out of all my art this was the most succesful.
This project i grew the most from because you really had to use your eye for it to look good. You had to figure out how to shade so it would look on the lanolioum. This project looks short and easy, but it had a lot of steps to it. It was a difficult task to find a good nature picture that would look good on lanolioum and can carve out. I learned a lot from this cause i had to compromise the picture to what would look best on a small surface. I could have done better with the dynamics of the picture, its kind of plain. It would have looked better of if it wasat a diagnol or something. Thats another thing i learned is how to add to add character and eye the dynamics.
I feel like this project wqas the least important becuase we did a project just like it right before it. I think one computer art project is good enough. We pretty much learned the same thing we learned in the project before it, there were a couple new things. I personally dont like computer art, i think its really frusterating. There werent many conepts taught in this project that we learned about in class. I dont think it was completely pointless, but out of all the projects i think it taught the least of the concepts. It was definitely an intersting project and kind of challangeing. At the end of the day i think it was the least important out of all the projects we did.
This piece was kind of putting everything we learned through out the year year together. We used drawing skills that we learned at the beggening of the year, contour lines etc. I then also used contrast skills and what colors go good together and how to make then contrast well. Learned how to paint and different painting skills which was also put into this piece. It was difficult leanring when to use certain painting skills, but i caught on it was learning a process. At the beggening of the year we leared how to look at a picture and draw, we used the same skill here. It was all about picking a landscape and then eyeing it and drawing it on the canvas. This was the ending project where we put a lot of what we learned all year together.
Thix piece reflected me the most as an artist and what personality is like. I am bright colored person, i wish this turned out a little brighter that was my goal. It is an underwater piece which shows how much I love the water and the ocean. I love snorking, meaning i love look at whats under water. I kind of true what you see under sea. It shows my clay skills and the detail i put in it. I can personally connect to this because it is a mix of things i love and presents that. Overall this was the the best piece that refelcted me over all, cause it showed me as an artist and what i enjoy. I enjoyed this project.
