I first picked out an animal and then a good background to go with it so it looked natural. I then drew a sketch of it, and picked a piece of it to put on the lanolioum. I sketched it out on a piece of paper the size of the sqaure and shaded it so i knew what parts i needed to carve out. Then i drew it out on the lanolioum and shaded what needed to carved out, and then took a exacto knife to start carving. Once that was done i took printing paint and covered the lanolioum and then printed it to a small piece of construction paper. I learned how to print and how to eye what should be carved out and what shouldnt.

Angry Pancakes

Doing this project in photoshop was a good experience, it taught me how to use a lot of thee tools and what they do. Photoshop can be very confusing and it kind of cleared it up. It can be a lot of minipulating and playing around with different photos.

Stencil Project

This project was harder then i thought it would be. When spray painting the stenicls it was difficult to keep them lined up just right and you had to spray them to a coupple times cause some stencil would cover some of another. The process began with picking out a expresive photo and putting it through photoshop, so it had three differemt colors. Then i projected it up on a white board so i could trace the three different colors on to three different poster boards. After that was finished i cut out what was traced so it became a stencil. Then i cut a piece of card board and painted the background a crayish color so it would match the colors i was gonna spray paint with. After that i took the stencils one by one and lined them up and spray painting them depending on what needed to go where. I think this project turned out pretty succesful, the hardest part was getting the stencils to fit just right kind of like a puzzle.

Value Drawing

This value drawing really helped me catch the value of the drawing and how to shade it so it gets the full effect. Really showed me how to pay attention to where the shadows are. The drawing on the ipad showed me what different colors to use when drawing shadows and values so it gets darker to lighter. I learned how to draw a shadow from a object depending on which way the light is coming from. Overall to me i learned how to get all the detail in the picture.

Contour Drawing

This drawing showed me how to draw with eye and follow my eye, so i can draw a full size image. It was dificult though at times not to lift up the pen. This helped me learen how to draw and connect everything as one. It improved me on getting the size right and making sure it is life size, but when it comes to detail i dont know how much it improved my detail.

Skeleton

I drew a skeleton of mickey mouse. I made sure to use all the bones on him, including the ears and head. The ears were kind of tough on how to figure out how to draw the bones in them. I made sure to put some teeth in his mouth to add character. The feet and hand were tough to draw bones in, i had a little trouble with them. Over i think it turned out pretty well. i think i could have added some more detail thought (more bones). I learned how to be creative and how to imagine what something would look like when you dont have something telling you what it looks like.
